Product Manager, FinTech

What you'll do:

You will lead a team of talented engineers responsible for building a resilient infrastructure to prevent payment related Fraud at Cloudflare . You will oversee the development of scalable processes and tools that handle everything related to protecting Cloudflare’s revenue. Your work will directly support billions in revenue and millions of customers while enabling new product launches and monetization motions across Cloudflare.

Your work will play a key role in rebuilding our entire billing platform, designing a next-generation financial infrastructure that ensures financial accuracy and seamless performance. Leading a team of skilled engineers, you will drive the execution of complex technical initiatives, ensuring our architecture is resilient, scalable, and future-proof.

Beyond technical execution, you will focus on growing and mentoring a high-performing engineering team. You will set clear expectations, provide thoughtful feedback, and create an environment where engineers can thrive. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, finance, data science, operations and support departments to align technical decisions with business objectives. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage priorities, and navigate a fast-paced environment will be critical in driving success.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

Experience building out tooling that supports fraud prevention on self-serve purchasing motions and usage based products

Experience leading a team or multiple teams of senior and staff engineers.

Experience working with cross-functional teams, driving alignment, and clearly creating and communicating technical direction for large cross-company efforts.

Led initiatives in partnership with data science teams to oversee the end-to-end development, training, and fine-tuning of machine learning models to meet specific business KPIs

Comfortable building developer-loved APIs that scale.

Demonstrate a track record of leading a team including hiring, on-boarding, and professional development.

Experience implementing tools, process, internal instrumentation, methodologies and resolving blockages.

Comfortable managing teams/projections with tight deadlines and short release cycles.

For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $141,000 - $194,000
