For the first 6 months, you will act as the tech lead, focusing on technical projects and directly contributing to code. Following this period, you will transition to managing direct reports.
Spend at least 25% of your time being a strong individual contributor, driving the engineering quality and velocity of the team by being an exemplary practitioner
Build high-performance services using Golang and gRPC, creating seamless integrations that elevate Coinbase's customer experience
Be a thoughtful technical voice within the team, aiding in diligent architectural decisions and fostering a culture of high-quality code and engineering processes. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure successful delivery and operation of multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale.
Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define strategic product roadmaps and make direct impacts on Coinbase’s international expansion
Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise
Mentor and coach team members on system design techniques and coding standards
Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
