As part of the Finance org, the Cyprus Finance function supports our MiFID regulated entity Coinbase Financial Services Europe Ltd (CBFSE), ensuring financial leadership, regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, and strong governance.
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our Finance team in Cyprus. This is a remote-first opportunity. You will oversee critical accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure our financial reporting accurately reflects our rapidly evolving crypto business.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
Assist with various areas of the company’s operational accounting, recording daily journals and creating supporting schedules
Preparation of the CBFSE daily reconciliation and other periodic reports, as required.
Assist with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
Cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Source-To-Pay teams to ensure proper accounting and financial reporting
