9+ years of experience of managing critical datastores infrastructure with high transaction throughput, production reliability, big migration, and technology evolution
Track records of architecting and scaling databases with partitioning, sharding, distributed db, caching, router/proxy
Hands-on practice with Relational & NoSQL as well as some relevant engines, such as Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch
Real-world experience of design scale-out infra and triage performance/reliability issues in a distributed env;
Leadership in terms of advancing developer experience/velocity and enforcing standards via self-service tools
Proven experience of managing infra budget, contracts and vendors for efficiency, optimization and evolution roadmap
Effective communication for mandarin-but-instrumental technical aspects, guidelines and tradeoffs to other service/product teams and non-technical stakeholders
Effect way to build and nurture multiple sub teams with big vision/roadmap, “can do” spirit, and practical dependency & priorities
